Engineering Analyst at Goldman Sachs. Applied ML research and backend systems.
I'm an Engineering Analyst at Goldman Sachs, where I work primarily on machine learning and backend systems. I'm also pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science at the University of Texas at Austin.
My research spans bias control in deep learning with the Kerner Lab and multimodal reasoning with the CoRAL and Cognition & Intelligence Labs at Arizona State University, where I earned Bachelor of Science degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics (Statistics).
I care about the mathematics behind models that work, and the systems that bring them into production.
Going back to Goldman Sachs as a full time Engineering Analyst on the Derivative Confirmations desk. Primarily focused on Backend systems and ML pipelines.
Building CRAFT, a selective-retention framework for DNN biases. Letting users explicitly amplify or suppress certain biases at an architectural level to improve generalization. Manuscript in the works with a lot of benchmarking, TCAV, loss function updates, backpropagation and probably a ton of future blogs.
